I have finally installed Google Analytics correctly thanks to a nice person who is a computer database programming type who made sure that I placed the correct code in the correct location in my blog, but now my data is totally wrong. It's way under counting, as if it's tracking only recent posts since I added the code.
So, I searched around and found that more SEO types agree. Click here. Michael Martinez of SEOmoz is considerably more techy savvy than I am and is also unhappy with Google Analytics. I will search for something better, though probably not free, to replace it.
